- You can see that “change icon” is given in front of you, click on it then type text which is given below in Browse Blanks:

- But you have also many icon as you see in the dialog box, you can choose any on which you like most.
- After then click OK and Apply the changing is shown in your desktop Folder of All Apps.
If you have the need every time when you working on system and laptop, The shortcut for recently use all apps is Win + Q and also you can fixed the All Apps Folder in Taskbar by Left Clicking permanently folder to Taskbar.
You can pin Windows 8 app apps shortcut to Taskbar to easy access. All app shortcut launches all your apps in double clicking. Besides this charm search is also launched when you access this shortcut by using which you can search files or folders or apps on PC or go to Windows Store or settings.
Although you would create shortcut of different programmes on Windows 8 or 8.1 separately. To create different types of shortcut see below:

- Open File Explorer and paste the following in the address bar:

- Press Enter. You should be greeted with a secret folder containing a bunch of random apps and actions.
- Find the Modern app you want to create a shortcut to. Right-click on it and choose “Create shortcut”. It’ll show up on your desktop.

From there, you can do whatever you want with the shortcut—leave it on your desktop for quick launching, or—if you’re a Launchy user like me—put it in a folder and add that folder to Launchy’s catalog. It’s annoying that you have to do it one-by-one, but I suppose it’s better than nothing.
This trick has been around since Windows 8, but with Modern apps becoming more prevalent in Windows 10, this trick became more useful.

This video tutorial will teach you how to create a Shortcut Icon on your Windows 8 Desktop. For this example I have created a Desktop Shortcut Icon for the Calculator. This tutorial will also show you a very useful tip on how to quickly find the location of your desktop shortcut target by utilizing the search facility within the application (Start) menu.
